About Me
My name is Isbah Ali. I am married with one son (born in 2000). I love working with children which is the main reason I started childminding.
I am a fully qualified childminder living in Knowle. I am registered with Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY) and my setting is assessed by Ofsted.
I hold qualifications in childcare NVQ level 3 and I have also received training in first aid and food safety (more details are given under 'my qualifications’).
The children in my care take part in a range of activities, both at my setting and in playgroups. These activities include counting, reading, writing, solving puzzles, painting, colouring, baking, outdoor activities such as going for walks near the setting, swing/slide in the back garden, water and sand play, growing plants, going to parks etc.
My Experience
Prior to childminding, I worked at Tommy Nursery. This gave me an opportunity to interact with a broad age range of children which helped me greatly when I started childminding. Overall I have 5-years of experience in childminding + 1 year experience in nursery.
My Availability
I work Monday to Friday (7.30-5:30). I also work flexible hours.
My Qualifications
I am a registered childminder with Ofsted since 2008. I have attained CACHE NVQ Level 2 (2008) and Level 3 (2010) in Children's Care, Learning and Development.
I have also received training in:
* Paediatric First Aid
* Emergency First Aid
* Health & Safety for Childminders
* Food Handling for Childminders
My Fees
£40 per day equivalent to £4 an hour (flexible rates available depending on childcare requirements, contract hours etc.)
The fee covers the following:
1. At mid-morning, children have snacks e.g. toast, bread sticks, raisins, cookies, fresh fruit, fresh milk and orange squash or Ribena.
2. In the afternoon, children have fresh fruit, a pot of yogurt, biscuits or cookies, fresh milk or squash.
3. Every day, children attend play groups, and the cost of these playgroups is also included.

Our sons having been going to Isbah for a year now. They are always happy to go and the homely setting ensured they settled in really quickly. In addition to all the educational activities Isbah does with them at home she also ensures they regularly go to groups and interact with other children. Going to work is made so much easier knowing that the boys are safe, happy and having fun.

I am very happy with the service that Isbah provides. She has the right balance between being loving and caring and firm when needed. My children love going there and miss her if she or we are away. They go to lots of different play groups and do lots of activities when at home. She is also very supportive of any feedback my eldest is given at school eg practicing maths with her. I would be more than happy to recommend her service
